5atexasfootball.com has him listed as one of the players to watch for the upcoming system.
Would love to see a Trinity-to-SMU pipeline open up.

Now your talking. When that yong man grows a bit more we will have a PLAYA.
Got to love the BIG MEN that come to SMU.
Bring in the herd of BIG MEN.
I know that it gets old but that is what we need. 12 to 16 big men a year.

From my understanding he leads the Haka for Trinity HS. Hopefully, Evan will be his host when he visits SMU during the season. We definitely need him to commit to SMU.

Coach Jones also said that he is getting calls from Samoa, but I don't have any names yet.

Reports are that JJ and Coach McMackin are going to travel to Samoa together to recruit on behalf of SMU and Hawaii. Hawaii has the advantage of geography plus almost everyone from Samoa has family in Hawaii. However, JJ is well known in Samoa so I'm guessing he's not traveling all the way to Samoa without trying to get some players.

Don't remember but I'm guessing a call from Evan's mother might be skirting NCAA rules...might need to research that one before a call. otherwise a good idea

Someone needs to call him and let him know that Utah is not the only place where coaches have a good relationship with Polynesian players.
