This is written by EJ Holland for DMN who is SMU's Scout Editor (and does a damn good job)

They're not real sticklers for accuracy over there.

Or is it ten inches tall? Foot minus two?

Ten inches and 225 pounds. That dude would be very difficult to tackle.

Another non qualifier (Freddie Johnson) for SMU. Highest rated offensive lineman in the class.

So, is this an indication of improved recruiting? Sounds like very solid players and a few can make an immedicate impact.

we'll end up about 72nd in total points ranking -a little lower in average per recruit maybe 78th-I'll project about the No. 75 Class in the Country-not so hot. A very small number of truly headline highly recruited recruits. Few BCS level recruits-maybe a handful as in 1 hand

does that consider the "diamonds in the rough" factor?

If nose guard is such a problem and since we seem to be set at back with Snead Niemchi and Line, and since JJ refused to play Wimbley at back, why not move him back to defense. Seems like we are wasting a player by making him a project then giving up on him.

Makes sense, June probably won't go for it.

Or you could look at it and say that the coaches might feel we don't have a problem at ng
