Well, at least one of us is.
You're not allowed to drive a car or operate heavy machinery, are you?

I am afraid for the beginning of next year with the QB play. If someone does not step up, we are going to see 8 in the box for DeMyron.
Willis to slot receiver!

Yeah, but that's the case with any team that has a stud RB until the QB steps up.

With DeMyron Martin and James Mapps 8 in the box doesn't matter.
We could just run it 60 times and hang 35 on the opponents if they don't respect our passing game.
By the time Wednesday rolls around, I wouldn't be a bit surprised if SMU's 2006 class isn't a national Top 25 class.
We are loaded.
According to Rivals, who has SMU ranked about 90th, we have (0) 5 Star , (0) 4 Star and only (2) 3 Star Recruits among our verbal commits this year. Some of our sleeper commits are not showing any other offers from other Div. 1 schools. We had (10) 3 Star Commits in 2004 and (4) 3 Star last year. Unless we have some great surprises that sign on Tuesday, SMU may have one of worst recruiting classes in school history.

Okay, that is going way, way too far. This class still beats out most of the Cavan classes easily.

I think it is fair to say that Dan Freiburger probably is the name of Coach Bennett's mother on this board. Or, someone was drinking a lil' bit too much Jack last night.

He is no one's mother...so the amount of Jack is probably the right answer.

"We are loaded" means that Dan and his roommate had too much Jack. As I said in my post in another thread. This recruiting class will not knock anyone's socks off, and we have to compare it with other classes in CUSA. If its the best class in CUSA, then its a good class, not a great class, but a good class. If we have one of the best recruiting classes in CUSA, then in the long run we ought to compete for championships and go to bowl games. Then we can focus on having Top 25 classes.

CUSA East has been really quite respectable with UAB and Southern Miss in the top echelon of non-BCS schools. The CUSA West is having a horrendous recruiting year-each and every school which must be some consolation to you. This CUSA thing has not caught on yet in Texas but considering the schools its not surprising. Houston could have had a great year-well if not for the 6-7 decommits. As it is they are wallowing in the same CUSA West mud as the rest. SMU right now is rated about 95th in Total Points(last in CUSA) but they don't have some or our lower echelon recruits like the Kicker, the LB greyshirt and the Degroat kid. If you take it by average score(which will go down when these recruits are added) we are about midway in CUSA and about 77th National. I expect those numbers to merge toward each other so that we will end up somewhere around 85-90.

Rivals only counts scholarship athletes not walk-on committments, right? They shouldn't reduce your rating by non-scholarship commits who may or may not make the team.
