His old QB is already enjoying being the young superstar on campus might be a little late for a last second switch now.
any chance he's a package deal with his old QB....I heard he's pretty good.
That is funny, I doubt we can get Stafford now...

So am I correct or not that Morgan is the son of a former Mustang Club President-may change my mind about signing up to be a member-but I'm not sure which way it would tip the scale. Certainly, it would help explain why each of you kiss Phil Bennett's [deleted] so much.

For god's sake, grow up. There's nothing wrong with being a fan and doing what you can to help the program. Signing up to join the Mustang Club doesn't mean kissing anyone's anything, it means donating to your alma mater and specifically the athletic program, and helping in whatever amount you can afford to see to it that our athletes have as many resources available to them as possible. It must be depressing to go through life so angry at everyone.

Actually, Morgan, his high school coach and a journalist who covered every HP game in person gave me the exact same numbers:
42 catches
1,057 receiving yards
13 receiving touchdowns

I believe he will have some success at SMU along with Burley. I expect more from the offense this year even with a new QB. It appears we should be better at the WR position than last year.

Won't hurt to have a few HP fans coming over to Ford on Saturdays to watch Morgan play for the Mustangs.

He was Stafford's favorite receiver and for those of you who did not see HP play, the offense is built around short passes and runs after the catch, so many of those yards were after he caught the ball and ran away from people Morgan was the fastest guy on the team, and has great hands as well. I actually thought he was a little bigger than they listed.

I can tell you from personal knowledge that his junior year was hampered by some injuries. He is a great pickup for the Mustangs. Last time I talked with his parents he was looking at Tech High and the Army. He seemed to be leaning heavily towards Army at that time - honestly never even knew SMU was in the picture. He is a quality young man, and well liked, so he may be able to help in ways off the field too, in hopefully persuading some of the younger kids from HP to look SMU's way. Athletically, very quick, strong, and jumps like an kangaroo, with very good hands

He won't be here next year. The SID report lists him as a grayshirt.

I`m not, i just threw it out there, probably should not have done so, i don`t think any rankings have a bearing on how classes will turn out........too much can happen.........
