all I'm saying is that based on a good number of actual times recorded by Rhoades I think you really have to be pretty gulliable to think that he runs a 4.3 and until he proves me otherwise and starts at least winning district track meets then I'm just going to believe this is largely a myth. Kids do it all the time-MOST Forty speeds quoted are pure fantasy but when a kid starts stating that he runs better than a 4.4 I'm going to say "Prove It".

What did rhoades run in the 100 meters at district? You still havent answered who timed the kid from kansas at 4.3 nor how it was run? For all you know the 4.3 is fantasy, there are lots of kids who run faster than a 10.6 100m, but far fewer kids who run 4.3 40's.

Do I think Rhoades runs a 4.3? No. But you discredit that number all the time, yet there is no valididty yet to the number from Kansas but it must be official.

Way to be mature fellas, keep questioning the kid's time and bringing him down, bottomline is the guy is fast. He is interested in SMU and we should try and bring him in here, I think he could do a lot of good things for SMU.

Who says hes interested in SMU? There has been no mention of SMU related to this guy except for that his father played here.

Last Fall I had a weekly running post about Zach in the recruiting section. I'm sure I posted some of his times there. They are all over the internet. Here's what you do-Go to Google and put his name in along with "New Braunfels" and magic will appear before your very eyes. Its not my job! Let me assure that the times I saw on the internet would not place him in the top 50 or probably even top 100 sprinters in the State. Better times are common at just about every competitive track meet.

Thats right, your job is to spend 7 hours of your work day on Pony Fans and make the same arguement over and over and over again while doing nothing to fix the problem besides standing on a table screaming that there is a problem.........sounds like a good job to me.

I bet if you did something to try and fix the problem everyone on the board would support you in any way they could. If I had the know how I would sure try, but I don't know how to fix a model or how to right this wrong. Maybe you do.......

I like what you have to say (not that that matters) but I wish something could be done besides you convincing the 12 loyal members of P-fans that we are still heading in the wrong direction.......

sounds awful defensive. Cant find a time? Or was the time better than what you thought. When I search New Braunfels track I cant get any timed results, just over all team finishes.

11.08 and 11.22 and third in a poor 4A District. He hasn't proven himself to be one of the Top 100 sprinters in the State as of last year. Those times really aren't that good. All I'm saying its alright to throw around 4.5s and 4.4 but its taboo to start posting sub 4.4 times without backing it up with some evidence.

So whats the evidence on the kid from Kansas? At the State meet last year in Texas he would have been 4th ro 5th, the winners were around 10.3, I doubt they ran in the 4.2 range though.
