At least we don't have it as bad as Arkansas does. Casey replaced Robert Johnson as the starter this year against South Carolina and the potential headlines were endless. My favorite:
Nutt pulls Johnson out, inserts [deleted] against C0cks.
For anyone who thinks this will affect his recruiting, get a sense of humor. I'm sure he's heard it from day one. The only thing you can do is laugh about. We're not the only school that thinks the name [deleted] is funny.

Danny, that has got to go on one of those lists of things that sound dirty, but aren't. Now, be the ball. Nanananananananananananana.....

Hopefully the QB corral at Arkansas is crowded and he doesn't choose to follow his brother to Fayetteville.
Surely that town's not big enough for two Dicks. Sorry. Couldn't help myself.
Ratchet it down a notch.
SMU's student population is 56% women. And that is considered a problem among college administrators around the country and they are trying to acheive a 1:1 ratio of men to women in the student body. Therefore, given the disproportionate number of women at SMU, I think there is plenty of room for ..., well, you know.

Why is having slightly more women on campus then men bad? I liked the ratio quite a bit as an undergrad.
The donkey's name is Kiki.
On a side note, anybody need a patent attorney?

Well...Title IX for one. Gender ratio of the student population has a direct bearing on Title IX requirements.

Nathan was at the scrimmage yesterday, along with about a half a dozen guys who looked like they might be his teammates.
I also saw a guy who was wearing a Carter Cowboys shirt .... I overheard him say something about being the "leading rusher" -- don't know if he meant last year, or that's his plan for 2006, or what. By my eyeball assessment, I would guess he was around 5-10, 180 or 190. Anyone know anything about Carter's RBs (If, in fact, that's what he plays....)?

That's him. Pretty solid looking guy.
Rivals is listing his early choices as:
LSU, Oklahoma, Alabama, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M and UTEP, in addition to SMU. Claims high interest in LSU and Oklahoma, medium interest in the rest.

Maybe I'm way off, but if DeMyron Martin has a huge year (which I expect him to!), couldn't that help with the recruitment of more Allen HS players?

Let's put it this way...
If we WIN, they (he or others) will come.
8-4 or we are screwed

9 wins should be the bogie. Not a prediction; is goal. 9 wins.
We get into bowl with less; however, 9 wins gives us recruiting credibility.
Would I like 12 wins? Sure. But the bare minimum is 9 wins.
