Who is claiming superiority...my statement is that those were the type of players TCU had when we won last year is factual. I realize being a lawyer you might have trouble understanding what a fact is, but throwing out a bunch of information available to any third grader with a computer doesn't make my statement any less true. We won last year.

Psst... Does the term "blind squirrel" mean anything to you?

I think the whole statement is " even a blind squirrel will find a 50 yard line seat sometime".

mrydel, you know I luv ya, but that one's a little off the mark. Finding a 50 yard line seat at an SMU game has been historically MUCH easier than finding a win has been for the ponies.

You are right. I guess it is "even a blind squirrel can see a win from a 50 yard line seat sometimes".

Now you're talking. And on those occasions, being a blind squirrel is actually kind of fun.

As opposed to being an attorney, I would think being a blind squirrel would be very much preferred on most any occasion.

(sorry, can not resist a good attorney bashing, at least since I do not need one right this moment)

Actually lawyering is a LOT like being a squirrel, since most clients are nuts.

Hey now, don't pick on attorneys. I think over time TCU will move back in our direction. Not right away, but over time. The MWC will get stronger and they won't go 11-1 every year. We'll get better. A winning season this year, and perhaps a bowl appearance will do a lot to get us to parity with the Frogs, despite our model differences. In fact we have more supermodels than they have.

JT, I see it a little differently. I have a nice home with a large pecan tree.

Attorneys are vermins scurrying in my backyard, tyring to take my nuts.

Or protect your nuts. There's attorneys on both sides.

And lets all remember the one undeniable truth: Nothing EVER happens where the lawyers don't make money.
