It's getting pretty late for that. The add/drop deadline is Tuesday.

Interestingly enough, you can still add and drop classess after the add/drop deadline.

Does anyone know if anyone other than the two QB's are visiting SMU today?

Actually there are three quarterbacks in this weekend. The kid from Katy is here as well.
There are also a couple of linemen.
Someone earlier was right. The next two weekends will have large numbers of recruits making their way to the Hilltop.

Thanks Jimmieho. I'm sure coach Jones has some studs coming in here to visit. I wouldn't be surprised if some are 3 or 4 star recruits.

He will in the fall, if not now.

In addition, Zach Rhodes and Logan Turner have thrown just as many touchdown passes for Coach Jones as Willis has. Everyone has competition.

Not to be negative, but I'd be STUNNED if we have a four star recruit even looking at us, let alone visiting.
Back off Warchild seriously.

I'm sure that JJ will find his share of 'diamonds in the rough'. Many times they turn out to be much better than some of the higher rated players. Sort of like women- many times the most beautiful are always the best performers.

Are they Offensive or Defensive linemen? We really need some more depth on Defense.

Westex: Man, it is really hard to read your posts with your formatting. Can you try to learn how to quote if your going to do so? (Hit "quote" tab in upper right of post you are trying to quote.) Not trying to be rude or offensive, but sometimes I am forced to pass on your posts because they give me a headache. :)

BTW this a long weekend for most high schools-some kids may take two visits this weekend. Keep your eyes open for some who might be visiting today and tommorrow.

I heard from a football player that Blake McJunkin (OL, Plano), Kevin Farmer (OL, Aptos, CA), and Josh Emshoff (OL, Lumpkin) were on campus this weekend.

Also that Andrew Robiskie (offensive lineman) from Ohio was going to be enrolling Tuesday.

At Red River last nite I was talking to a good friend whose brother, Rob Moerschell, was a QB at UT in the early 1980s. He said that McJunkin is very interested in us but he said SMU hadn't called him back. I told him there were no Coaches to call him back. Some may rember McJunkin's Dad was a top SWC OLM for UT too in the 1980s. This guy said McJunkin had some good teams after him and was surprised we weren't after him.

The Emshoff kid looks like he might be pretty good. McJunkin rated only 5.0 by rivals Can't find anything on Farmer or Robiskie. Is he a JUCO?

EDIT: McJunkin is also only rated a 1-star by Scout. Does have offers from AFA and Navy, though.
