the Lubbock papers and Recruiting services have reported this too-so unless there was a catch I think he's going to Tech. Haven't seen anything from any source saying otherwise.

He says he always thought Tech was cool. They mu$t be paying these guys. How can anyone who isn't from a town smaller than Lubbock think it's cool.

Im from a small town not far from Lubbock and I don't even think it's cool. Yet year after year Dallas kids flock to that school. I can understand the offensive players going to put up big numbers but they get kids on both sides of the ball. Mind boggling.

Just that there was some interest. Don't know if he ever had any interest in coming to SMU, but was at least interested enough (because of Coach Jones' reputation maybe?) to at least listen. Maybe that was the end of it. I don't know.
