Other teams of interest.
35. USM 59. UCF 65. Marshall 71. Tulsa 81. ECU 83. UNT ---------------- 86. Houston ---------------- 94. TCU 95. UTEP 95. UAB 103. Tulane 105. Rice 107. Memphis
Great post. Given the season (and the off-season) we've had, I'll take this spot amongst our competition. I think our ranking will improve after tomorrow's announcements.

It seems like JJ's commitments have had really productive high school careers and were lauded by their respective conferences compared to our past recruits even though rankings seem to be pretty similar.

How many stars did they have coming out of HS?

Odiari was 3 stars and Robieske was unrated-pretty much a sleeper but he was an All-State OLM in Ohio.

I love that our class is ranked above TCU.
Here's to bringing the skillet back where it belongs!
Those who complain about a problem are simply wasting time they could use to fix it.

TCU only has 14 commitments so far so that's to an extent a mathmatical deal. But not a great TCU class-they've really struck out here in the last 3 weeks or so.

They are only looking to add 2 or 3 more. They are hoping to get Foltz.

I still do not undersand why having MORE commitments, regardless of their quality, gives you a higher rating. A recruiting class should be ranked based on quality of recruits, no?

Oh really? If you believe the best recruits and ratings say it all then I suppose the schools ahead of us are better?? Baylor, Troy, UNT for God's sake???? I don't care about rankings!!! I care how they perform later, on the field!!!

They are ranked both with total points and average points per recruit. Of course, with 27+ recruits its easier to beat a team with 14 recruits. They are substantially ahead of SMU in average per recruit-2.43 to 2.15. Can't access rankings right now but their average recruit is much higher ranked than ours.

Do you think any of our 7 OL recruits will end up playing at tackle?

Stallion, I thought each 2 star recruit was worth 3 points and each 3 star recruit was worth 8 points? If that is the case, we should have 98 points instead of 80. Is there a cutoff somewhere for 2 star points? North Texas' points are also below what they should be.

Any 4-5 star NQ's that TCU can sign and cross their fingers on?
