I'll preface this by saying I don't know the guy, so take this with as large a grain of salt as you wish. But I've had two guys who claim to be "in the know" tell me they've heard Fontana has committed to be a Mustang. Maybe I'm wrong, but I hope not. He sounds like a monster. When's the last time we had a guy in the national top 10 at any position?

I get the sense that this very likely is true. The next guy is still in the "hopefully" category.

on the same subject Stefen Huber won't be one of those lineman if he still had an SMU offer. Committed to Baylor. Huber claimed it came down to SMU and Baylor which were his offers along with Army.

James, at PonyStampede, talked to Joey's father this evening. He said that Joey has not commited anywhere yet but SMU was one of his favorites. He wouldn't commit to SMU until his second visit, which won't happen until after practices start. He said he wanted to meet Dennis McKnight first hand.
