Hughes was also impressed with his coach in charge of recruiting him.

"Coach Reinebold did a great job," Hughes said. "He is a great guy, very easy to talk to. He made me feel very much at home at SMU."

Just like PonyTales suggested last week:

Surely you're not surprised he's such a good recruiter, are you? We learned that in the PF.com story about him:

“Reinebold has been a hot target with several NFL teams, and it's no surprise after he helped Hawaii assemble its best recruiting class in almost 20 years. The Warriors finished third in the WAC behind traditional powers Boise State and Fresno State, and Reinebold's efforts were a key. He landed all but two of Hawaii’s players in this year’s class … What was most impressive about his efforts is that he was able to pull players from totally different parts of the country. He got signees from California, Illinois and even Texas.â€

Everybody want to know my name,
Bring the pain,
And pop the champagne...

... I got a gold chain,
Like it was 1980....

Nice. Figured it was pre-DP.

Great song. I was a little confused at the hype at first since he is unranked and has no stars on Rivals, but Scout has him highly regarded and he is the #1 in the state which is impressive any way you look at it. Keep it up, coaches.

Yeah, it is. Quite a few lyrics that are unprintable here, or most places. But I figured the sentiment of the lines I chose, fit perfectly with my feelings on this matter.

I'm sure, though, had he committed to a Big XII school Rivals would have ranked as a 4 star, or some such, immediately.
