Miami had the number 5 ranked recruiting class in the country last year. Coach Shannon and his staff know talent and they are building a top 20 class this year. It would be nice to keep a young man home that had an offer from a BCS school like Miami. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

That's such a counter-intuitive argument.

bumped for apparent Joubert commitment. I have a lot of his track and other info above. What positions is he expected to play. Right now he has 3 catches for 17 yards and 4 carries for 32 yards on the season. Not really sure how much he is playing WR or DB at Duncanville-he is a transfer this year from Arlington Grace Prep so they may have had some difficulty incorporating a new kid into their plans on offense-obviously he has a lot of physical talent and speed.

From my understanding he will be playing WR for us. It is good that we are recruiting WR's that are true receiver in HS and not converting from another position (not that there is anything inherently wrong with that).

I like the (verified) speed in combination with a listed 6-1 (unverified)package(mmm never mind). Smurfs are OK for inside receivers but we need to some bigger guys outside.

That height is about right. I walked right past him at the game.

this site says he has had some injuries and other issues which have limited his exposure during previous camps and seasons.

The offer from Miami would be "quality" enough, IMHO, that he should be considered a premier recruit, notwithstanding injuries and the fact that you tend to prefer quantity as well as quality offers, right?

Right and he is fully recovered and healthy now.
