No question the kid can change the game on any play.
Impressed with not only his break away speed but his ability to run between the tackles.
Reminds me alot of Woods from McKinny North now @ Texas Tech.

I really like Lawrence but there isn't one good run defense in that district so keep that in mind.

Kendial Lawrence, Rockwall-Heath 229 rushes 2069 yards rushing 9.0 ypc 32 TD
its still 4A and he's dominating with 9.0 ypc-he's getting the job done. You can't expect much more. I too am somewhat skeptical of players from lower classifications especially 2A and 3A and I expect the great ones to dominate at that level which he has. My bigger concern is whether we are really in the mix-we were late to the party and he has about 9 offers.

supposedly the Heath RB is committed to Arkansas - that is therumor.
HP is not big but they are pretty fast - he made them look silly. Very quick feet.

Alot of great talent in 4A. BTW, I can't remember but what classification was Sealy when we got Dickerson?

around the same time but slightly early you had Overstreet from Big Sandy and Billy Sims from Hooks. Both smaller than Sealy.

IN THE FIRST HALF-he didn't play after halftime.
Jeff Owens reports that Kendial Lawrence ran for 241 yards and five touchdowns on 14 carries in the first half and that Rockwall-Heath leads Frisco Centennial, 42-0, at halftime. Owens says Heath has already taken Lawrence out of the game because it has such a big lead.

wow! I didn't realize that was in the 1st half. That is impressive. Also, didn't know Heath is now ranked #8 in state

Kendial Lawrence rushed for 255 yards and five touchdowns and Everitt Gilbert rushed for 215 yards and two TDs to lead Rockwall-Heath to a 58-21 victory over Dallas Hillcrest late Friday night in Class 4A Division II playoff action at Texas Stadium.
Although the game was close throughout most of the first half, the Hawks (12-0) scored three touchdowns in the last six minutes of the second quarter to take a commanding 44-21 halftime lead.
Lawrence scored on runs of 10,12, 58, 1 and 64 yards. Gilbert scored on 47 and 7 yard runs.

I was at the Hillcrest v Rockwall-Heath game Friday night. Lawrence is awesome, as is Gilbert. Would love to see Lawrence in a Mustang uni next year!
FYI: There was a Mustang scout at the game Friday night.
