Neither Scout nor Rivals have him rated. Anyone know why?

I really like Nwabuike & he's not rated either.

Its exciting to see us get this caliber of athlete. At 6'5, he was the Offensive Player of the Year last season in basketball & a 1st team All District DE in a very good district.

Its guys like this & Brandon Thornton from Conroe that get me fired up.

Looks good to me. I trust JJ and crew to make this pick before the web sites put stars upon thars. ( Kids book reference )

Get this guy to 290 to 310 and I bet he still moves well.

Go Mustangs.

Now we need a JUCO NG.

Thanks a million.

Anyone know if Murphy changed all the Frog stuff on his facebook page? Would be nice to see it gone so we don't have to worry about any signing day surprises.

How is he grade-wise? This class is really shaping up nicely. When you consider that the lions share of our commits came before we started winning its even more impressive. The 2011 class needs have a few Texas Top 100s on it. I fully expect it will.
Back off Warchild seriously.

Do they give offensive and defensive player of the year awards in hoops now or was he the most offensive player?

Former SMU basketball player Nigel Smith coaches football/basketball/track at Little Elm high school.

I had the fortune of working an Aledo/Little Elm playoff game this fall.

It's a shame Murphy's coaches couldn not maximize his athleticism. By far the most under-utilized athlete I've seen on the high school level in a couple seasons. I think they threw him one hitch and he stiff-armed his way for a nonchalant 12 yard gain but never looked his way again. Its easy for a good high school program to focus on the only real threat on the defensive side, and Aledo double teamed him throughout the night. But he has a really explosive step and his player of the year award for basketball is probably deserved. He was simply on another level athletically on that stage. I like the current SMU staff's ability to get legitimate athletes with upsides in numerous positions.

And to the general's note about Nigel Smith, it's always nice to have former SMU student-athletes promote their experiences enough to keep prospects like Clinton in the loop

Welcome to SMU, Clifton. Get in the weight room and watch everything Taylor Thompson and Marquis Frazier do.
