if youre already on one or both of those sites you dont need a link on pf to let you know about info on rivals/scout, so really im not sure what the point of posting the links is.
What about when some post premium info with no link to act like they did all the work with no link. Then can a link be posted under that? Because that scenario should happen before the day is out. as Scout has just broke another recruiting story.
posting premium info from other sites here is just crap. like others have said, if you want it pay for it.

The "post or dont post recruiting site info" debate is quickly becoming the most tiresome discussion on the board. Everyone knows everyone else's opinion by now, so lets just drop it and worry about something useful.

Just re-name this site as requested. There is no value-add here.
You might as well post:
SUBJECT: NEW COMMIT!!!!!!!!! ---------------------------------------
Check the internets.

There's all kinds of great information on this recruiting site as soon as the players name is posted to the commitment list. There are game reports from just about every game of every early recruit with highlites and honors if you look-but those were after they publically committed. If I find public information about our recruits I post it here as soon as the name of the recruit hits the public domain. See the Kenneth Acker post for example. See about a hundred Posts on All East Texas Jeremy Johnson and Rickey Collins. What you want is immediate access to premium information

Should be renamed grown men that track the moves of young boys. Some of you guys are just flat out creepy. I mean Jesus. Take a step back and re-evaluate.

They are just fans wanting their team to do better - and know it all starts at recruiting.
Lighten up Francis.

True, I just hope they stop posting the premium info.

Recruiting code talkers crack me up. They should just post on the scout or rivals board where they got the information, at least those people will understand the message. Those "premium" sites have boards, why not use them?

They can't show off there that they know more than you know. Besides everyone there already knows all about the recruit so what is there to talk about?...they won't be talking geldings.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

If they come over here talking in code and all they tell me is that rivals says we got a new recruit they aren't telling me they know more than I do. If they give me a name, only then can I confirm they knew more than I did.
This puts the subscription code talkers in an interesting catch-22 position--they cannot show off their superior knowledge without giving away "premium" information. Their ingenious solution is to code talk, which I find almost as funny as their defenses of code talking.
I'd kill for a Nobel Peace Prize.
