Mitchell Bennett actually did play, just not very well. As I recall, he had at least one catch - it was about a 70 -80 yard pass on a fly route - and that's all I can remember seeing from him. Lots of speed and no hands. He might have quit at some point.

BTW, everyone talks about the Dickerson-James class, but the class one year earlier was ranked #10 in the country because of all the lineman we took in.
And the year before that was Mike Ford (was Harvey Armstrong also in that class?) - Blue Chips - which was the equivalent of 5-stars in today's rankings.
