As I mentioned in a previous post, another scholarship may now be available because, I understand, that one of the current players on the team has flunked out of class. :roll: I don't want to disclose the name, because this is hearsay until confirmed by the coaching staff. :unsure:

Nope. I want all SMU players to get their degree, but I've heard the same thing.

I understand that prior to flunking out, this player was tactfully told that his level of effort was insufficient to earn any playing time, and that it might be in his best interests to look elsewhere if he wanted to play football.

We don't need that kind of player on the team, and obviously we could use that valuable scholarship.
