The lack of consistent energetic recruiting is ultimately what puts the nail in the coffin for me with June. I actually respect his Xs and Os and feel good with him at the helm when we are in a do or die situation (and his teaming with Mumme has been extremely successful if you just look at the offensive numbers). However, the lack of recruiting is the problem I have. Heck, I don't care all that much about the geldings issue or any of that kind of stuff (he's a hired gun) but it's obvious he doesn't build a program to last (why would he? if a program sucks after he leaves then "see what how great I am?").

Damn it! Since he's a Mumme guy, I wonder if he knows something we don't about either of them being around much longer (JJ and Mumme).

This one hurts.

He got a better offer. My guess is he just committed to SMU knowing he had a place to go. Got a better offer and bolted.
