Boy, those are all lousy figures. SMU's is the best given its one win season. UH and SMU both have five 3-star commitments. It's going to be a very interesting couple of weeks.

I couldn't be more pleased with the success of the Memphis football program. So good for the conference to have our weakest link become a strength.

We need SMU, USF, Tulane, and UConn to get it together. Temple and Memphis did their part this year. Memphis kept the streak alive for an AAC team to be ranked at the end of the year.

Just hope Fuente can keep winning with his own recruits  Great job sending BYU back to the desert :!:

Also, to be clear, as everyone on this board knows, I don't think the recruiting services are as accurate as a coach who is a great talent evaluator. In the end, that is the great separator in the non P5 conferences - a coaching staff that can evaluate talent really well and pulls in players who aren't highly sought after.

With the graduation of those good recruiting classes, it is going to be evident very quickly how good of a talent evaluator Fuente is. June's first couple of classes were average from a conference standpoint, but the JDs and Tank Reeds really made those above average classes.

Honestly, what will hurt more than anything with our recruiting class this season would be no transfers. Most of the schools at our level have several P5 transfers that come in every season, which boosts a class in the 90s up to the 70s pretty quick.

[deleted] Memphis.

Enjoy your good year. It won't last. Born and raised there. I know. Maybe 1 more good year, possibly 2. And if you DO have any kind of sustained success in Fball, you're still Memphis. [deleted] school no one goes to unless it's a last resort.

Well based on your academic ranking it is pretty much true. Congrats on the football team though.
