Maybe SMU should pull his scholarship right now. ![]() #HammerDown
Re: SB Nation Article on David Moore choosing SMUIt will be interesting to see if he will actively recruit

Re: SB Nation Article on David Moore choosing SMUI think we are giving the wrong impression on this kid-I think he really loved everything about the school. He's been ecstatic about the program and stated that SMU has been top program he visited after looking at a bunch of schools. His enthusiasm for SMU, the campus and coaching staff is why I felt confident that he was definitely committing to SMU. Think you guys are reading too much into this-most recruits would take a second look at their long time favorites. Remember his QB Coach is Kevin Murray so the A&M thing makes complete sense. I'm excited he picked us over 18 schools and no SMU recruit worth a damn is going to be easy to hold onto when the P5 come calling. If these kind of things offend you-then you probably shouldn't follow recruiting-just wait until signing date and see who signs. I'm celebrating a very timely commit which I think could be the first of several in next few weeks as Coaches get off campus to evaluate

+1 SMU-12 NCAA appearances, 1 Final Four
2014-15 & 2016-17 AAC Men's Basketball Champs
Re: SB Nation Article on David Moore choosing SMUMaybe SMU should go to recruiting kids with no FBS offers that are borderline G5 players where SMU is their only major option. That way these posters wil be happy because they will be solidly committed to SMU and the staff will not have to work hard to keep them. Oh wait....

Re: SB Nation Article on David Moore choosing SMUIt will be delicious to hear how some of these other coaches talk about SMU in a couple of years...

Re: SB Nation Article on David Moore choosing SMUCelebrate away, and I'm glad he committed and I hope he signs. I'm just saying his quotes about ASU, on the very day he's committing to SMU, are concerning to me and appear to be openly in conflict with what HCCM is asking.
Re: SB Nation Article on David Moore choosing SMU
I would tend to agree with this. As we continue to recruit better players we will probably see a lot more of these type of situations. I know a lot of us are not used to this but I think over time we will get used to it. Glad it is the coaches are working hard trying to get the best players out there and not just players that are easy to get. Re: SB Nation Article on David Moore choosing SMU
Is that a direct quote from the staff or what the writer has concluded in general? Because I do not see quotes around that statement. #HammerDown
Re: SB Nation Article on David Moore choosing SMUI suppose it's possible the writer made it up. Don't know why he would.
