I have a pretty good feeling Chad Morris and his staff would have zero trouble getting a quality QB to sign here if Moore goes elsewhere.

Cox & ECM, are you guys crying?......c'mon now there's no crying in football!

The same Hicks (with all those P5 offers) who has already fallen behind Colbert (who Stallion swore did not have D1 QB talent)?

Moore is the best talent in the entire class and Morris' guy, BIG loss if it happens.

Zero trouble replacing Moore with an equal talent if he flips late? Right, keep telling yourself that.

Agree with footballdad on this one...David Moore is a perfect fit for this offense and will not be replaceable in this class. Yes, we will go out and pick another QB up in this class if he decommits, but he won't make as immediate of an impact as DM would. Moore will more than likely start next year and I wouldn't bet on him changing his mind. Coach Morris has been recruiting Moore since Clemson and is no stranger to recruiting battles. After all, he was the number one reason the number one QB in the country (Deshaun Watson) chose his school over every other P5 program including Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State, etc.

Moore will become a hot commodity here in a month or two now that people actually know who he is. I'd rather be in this situation than fighting Central Arkansas for Neal Burcham or Steven Kaiser.

Six months to signing day with a staff full of bulldog recruiters and its devastating if we lose Moore? Yeah makes total sense. Nothing like transfers, decommits, JUCOS, etc. that could become available between now and then. Good grief.
Back off Warchild seriously.

Moore has a unique skillset that made Coach Morris target him out of all the other QBs in the country. David Moore is his number 1 guy. We passed up on the number 12 PSQB in the country this year with an offer sheet that is arguably better than DMs. We're not going to pluck some kid that is just as good from a JUCO. These guys are great recruiters but we're not going to strike gold in the midst of a 3-5 win year in the AAC.

If we lose him, I don't think it will be devastating to the future of the program. However, I do think his presence will accelerate our program's success. I'm not a very patient person so I'll hope for Chad's plan to pan out.

As of right now, last year's class is the same, or arguably better, than this year's class......and definitely worse if we were to lose Moore. With a full cycle to work on this class, need to finish stronger than we've started. If we can keep Moore, and finish with 2 or 3 more 3 star guys it will be a good class. If we lose Moore and finish with 4 or 5 more 2 stars.....very disappointing.

Moore would start next year? Are you guys serious? I know footballdad is just a loser troll but the rest of you need to chill out. Davis is well-suited to run this offense for the next two years. He was a 4-star, top-150 player in the nation out of high school with offers from all over, and HCCM's offense is perfect for him.

You guys do realize that this will be David Moore's first year starting as a HS QB, right? I think he's got a lot of talent and I think and hope he's a Mustang on NSD, but let's stop short of anointing him the next Randall Cunningham. Chad and company are going to take this program to new heights with or without David Moore

D Moore is the only 'wow' commit in the class. The rest are mediocre for the most part. Would completely suck for the class if we lost him.

Look at the offer lists of the players this year. Also look at what David Moore tweeted regarding how the media is twisting his words. He said that he would not be talking to the media much now due to them twisting his words.

Everyone else is just mediocre? Benson? Badejo? Rau?

Losing Moore would suck and he has been vocal in recruiting but we have some good commits on the hook right now regardless.

Yes we do. Just like KU wanted Thomas and Clark but we have them now. The types of players Coach Morris is going after have other quality offers and those other teams are not going to quit until signing day just like we will not quit when we are trying to flip somebody. We are trying to flip one or two important players now. Bottom line is that we will win some battles and we will lose some but this is a totally different recruiting situation than what we have seem around here since the DP and we need to get accustomed to it because it isn't going away anytime soon.
