Stallion and I disagree alot, but the guy specifically asked Stallion for a comparison and that is what stallion gave him. As for the personal best times registered by all, sounds like there might have been some serious wind that day to aid everyone.

Fact is McCann blazes and we will get to see it this fall. At 10.7 this kid is around 4.3 speed and that is fast no matter how you translate it.

I follow HS track pretty closely. 10.7 electronically is very good. I don't know what that conversion is to hand held.

As Stallion mentioned, most of the Texas times which were in the 10.4 to 10.5 range are electronically timed because they were at big meets. I think in texas all electronic times are converted to hand held times. At least that is what I remember.

This was not a great year for sprinters in Texas, as we usually have a couple of 10.3 sprinters.

McCann? I thought he was expected to start out at CB.
Did I miss an update somewhere along the line?

I heard they were gonna let him play both ways a little bit. Mainly defense though at corner, do some kick returning and punt returning and a little bit of offense.

That's surprising. The coaches love his athleticism, but there was a lot of talk that he would start out -- and play as a true freshman -- at CB.

If he goes to WR, that might be a preemptive strike toward next year, when the Ponies lose Bobby Chase, Jay'Mond Cleveland, Rey Pellerin, Blake Warren.

Also, if it's true, McCann, Columbus Givens and Emmaniel Sanders would be the fastest trio of WRs SMU has had since football game back.

WOW.
We all know he's fast, but he shows great balance, strength and awareness (he starts out right on the sideline) in that clip.
Very impressive!

That is an impressive run back, he really has some talent. I can't wait to see him in an SMU uniform next year.
