Forgive me, I was merely stating you might not like RAPLH's sense of humor, not him personally.

This is very true. There were 7 All State players on my high school team. 2 of us got Div 1 offers. Mine was stretching the limit and SMU was the only Div 1 offer I received. The other kid was also All Southern and a lower team All American player and a legitimate Div 1 prospect. They did not have rankings then like now but he would have been very high on the list and I possibly might not have been on it. Some of our other All Staters may or may not have been on the list. We had a sprinter who may have been but our lineman were small and quick and not really major college size. I doubt any of them would have been on such a list. Our honors were more for how we had performed as a team for 3 years.

This is a great start to the class of 2007. He has pretty good size, especially with the 321 pounds, he is talented that is obvious by the type of offers he got and for being first team all state. It is also great news that he just loves SMU, these are the best type of players to get to commit, because along with the coaches they will go out and recruit for you, wow the Class of 2007 could be something special, this lineman will make a large impact and he sets the tone for a great class coming into SMU.

For what it's worth, the DMN, which gets its recruiting information from rivals, is now saying LeRibeus is 6-foot-4.
SMU! SMU! SMU!

Welcome to SMU!!
What we obtain too cheap.. we esteem too lightly. It is persistence alone that gives everything its value.

PER THE DMN:
Berkner guard wants to bring buddy to SMU
Offensive guard Josh LeRibeus committed to SMU and will try to recruit a couple of Richardson Berkner teammates to join him.
At the top of LeRibeus' list: QB Justin Johnson, who has been offered by SMU and several BCS programs. Johnson is an option QB extraordinaire who could play several positions in college.
"I'm already working on him," said LeRibeus, a 6-4, 320-pound mauler who is a steal for the Mustangs.
LeRibeus could join Johnson and Berkner DT Adrian Campbell in the state top 100 when Rivals.com releases the list this summer.

Adrian Campbell is listed at 6-5, 241, 4.88.
Dude would have to add 50 pounds, wouldn't he?

Does seem a bit small but at 6'5'' he could probably pack on a couple of extra pounds pretty easily.
Besides with his list of offers right now, it looks like he is a legit D-1 player.
Current offers: Arizona, Arkansas, Kansas, Baylor, CSU, UCF

Oops - didn't see that part (Arizona offer is particularly impressive).
Might be a real player. Will be interesting to watch.
