They graduate about 40 guys each year total. Not forty from the football team. That's total. If we were welcomed to recruit at Holland Hall I would guess we would pick up maybe 1 or 2 in the next 20 years

That may well be true - you're not the first to suggest that - but with the new staff in place, there was no assurance that the agreement would carry over to the new regime, making the "if" statement more than valid.

Although Ellison commited to Bennett, I thought based on an earlier thread that June had reaffirmed the offer. The only two we do not know about are Smith and Beasley. Smith apparently visited last weekend.
