if you get a chance to view Padron in person or on tape now, notice the improvement in his mechanics particularly in the way he uses his hips when throwing. He accepted coaching well and has improved his accuracy.

He gets a great test next week against Galena Park North Shore.

His stats through 3 games
72-105-1 799 9TDs. Completed 68.5 percent of his passes. He is ninth among all area QBs, but that number is distorted because he is the only one in the top 10 to play 3 games. The others have played 4. The Mesquite game looked like his best running and passing to this point.
EDIT: The Carroll-Houston Bellaire game was canceled because of Hurricane Ike. Sorry for the confusion earlier. Carroll is 3-0 this season.

They didn't lose the game, right? It was cancelled.

Just got word that Carroll's game with Galena Park North Shore was canceled because of the aftermath of Hurricane Ike.
Carroll is going to play Katy Cinco Ranch on Oct. 3 at Dragon Stadium. That makes up for the lost game with Houston Bellaire.

Rivals is reporting Big12 Interest in Padron... does that mean that Missouri is looking for Chase Daniels part 2 the revenge? That would be quite a lure to get him away from us, I really hope that he's got it in his head that he's June's heir apparent. Didn't Chase get some playing time as a true freshman? Of course Padron would have to beat out Blane Gabbert, which isn't going to happen. So maybe this won't be such a big threat to us.
