Re: Say goodbye to our 3rd best recruit!See my post about SMU not being cool.
Re: Say goodbye to our 3rd best recruit! This kid wants to compete in track and made that very clear even when he committed. He is going to a better football program and can now be a track athlete. Unfortunately, academics is not a first priority in the mind of an 18 year old kid.
Re: Say goodbye to our 3rd best recruit!Dee rushes 16-252 yds and 3 TD in leading Munday to a 42-14 victory over Tenaha in the 1A-Div 2 state championship game. . . Just sayin

Re: Say goodbye to our 3rd best recruit!Great game today and he is electrifying but he is pretty small for the big boys schools.
Re: Say goodbye to our 3rd best recruit! He may be small. But, you are gonna have to catch him first to do any damage.

Re: Say goodbye to our 3rd best recruit!Still considering SMU? One of the Recruiting sites has the post-game answer. BTW he was the MVP in the Class A Championship today

Re: Say goodbye to our 3rd best recruit!
Stallion...you are such a tease. ![]() ![]() SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.
Re: Say goodbye to our 3rd best recruit!1-A. not that big a loss
Re: Say goodbye to our 3rd best recruit!I don't know how a coach can judge a 1-A player. He hasn't played in any comparable competition. Anything below 3-A has gotta be considered taking a big chance. In fact, I would think, 3-A has to be iffy.
Re: Say goodbye to our 3rd best recruit!Eric Dickerson didn't seem to have a problem coming from a small high school. A good football player is a good football player. . . No matter the classification of his high school.

Actually we bash them when we recruit them. Then we bash them again when they decommit. Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 2 Mustangs Abu!
Re: Say goodbye to our 3rd best recruit!Dickerson was from Class AA (which today is the same thing as AAA).

Re: Say goodbye to our 3rd best recruit!Keylon Kincaid (troup) and Blake warren (arp) are the only small school guys I remember recently. We had that speedster from ozona who never made it to camp IIRC
Re: Say goodbye to our 3rd best recruit! He'll love OSU. Heck Dexter Manley stayed eligible at OSU and he was functionally illiterate. Darrell Green had to teach him how to read. TT are Sand Aggies, yeah, that'll be a real great place to strut his stuff.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna
Re: Say goodbye to our 3rd best recruit!hey Dexter Manley was leaning to SMU but switched late to OSU-so I guess we got lucky on that one
