Supposedly Frazier was meeting with Petrino yesterday or today to tell him he would not be going to Arkansas and then heading to Auburn to commit. Malzahn still holds a strong presence in the NW Arkansas area and pretty well has the lead for any good recruit form there.

Looks like we are in the second tier of those who have shown interest, if that.

But that picure that was part of the 20 December 2009 post showing KF with a brace on the left leg -does anyone know the hstory and status of the knee?

We had immediate, early interest because of our recruiting of Samuel Harville. But that quickly ended when about 40 big time BCS schools entered the race. I think he was really torn between Arkansas, his inbred love and Malzahn, his true love. After Arkansas received a committment from a coaches son who is also a very good QB, the true love took over. Things could change (for Arkansas, not us) after his house is set on fire, rocks are thrown through his windows, and his dog is killed, all of which would not be out of line for Arkansas supporters when one of theirs commits elsewhere, but I doubt it. He said today his decision was made based on where he would want to be in school if he suffered a career ending injury tomorrow, and Auburn was his choice.

This kind of reminds me of Jessie Scroggins last year. We were in on him early then he blew up to be a huge national recruit with over 30 offers. Just a reminder of what a good eye JJ has for QBs

Although I agree with Jones having a good eye, I think Frazier was predicted to be a 5 star before we ever approached him.
