Sad that these student athletes don't look at the long-term picture too. How fun it must be to come back after graduating in 4 or 5 years and reminiscing on the BLVD under those beautiful oaks with a few cold ones and some good food for the next 70 years of Fall Staurdays in one of the great areas of the world for entertainment. Or they can be part of the masses at TT and OSU...Lubbock and Stillwater. I don't think either of those towns are destinations for any tour groups.

lubbock, stillwater = college town

dallas = not a college town

not saying anything other than the fact that lubbock and stillwater are college towns and dallas is not.

college towns have upsides and downsides. every kid is different. I think to say that any kid would automatically want to be in dallas is a little silly.
