He either makes significant strides with the program this year or I'm going to start to accuse him of coming here to steal money in the form of playing football coach.

Why now? Why him? Every coach before him professed to have the stuff to succeed here.

Because the academic roadblocks that we were told were the biggest issue have been cleared.

And I'm tired and I want to win.

Get real. He just implemented a new offense, run by an 18 year old and you expected something last year? Get out of here. If we win 1 game again next year- then yes, that is a disaster. But until that happens, give the guy a little time.

Why are you bringing up last year? I'm talking about this year.

Plus, we're paying this guy $2 million a year to produce a winning product on the field. Last year was last year and although it stunk, I understood that learning to win is a process and this team had to endure some hard knocks.

Nowhere in my comments have I ever expressed 6 wins or a bowl for this year. I have stated that this team's ceiling is 4 wins but there needed to be some real signs that this thing is turning.

And if some of you think that I'm not a fan of Jones, you may be right. I just don't have a good feeling about him.

Most of all, it was miraculous to see 2112112112112112112112112112 actually post something without using profanity.

Well at least we aren't the Cubs. They've been on a level playing field with no academic restrictions for 100+ years, and still haven't won a World Series title. You think 25 years is bad, at least we have fans still alive the last time we won a 'national championship'.

If you've noticed, the Cubs fans are starting to turn on the team because it started to get their attention that losing and being lovable losers is not all that fun anymore.

Once the White Sox and Red Sox ended their long droughts, that pretty much ended season after season of no expecations.

Dear general,

Please stop talking, you have no idea what you are talking about....It gives me a headache, as does all of your discussions on this board.

Thanks

Dear Nick,

Deal with it.

I've read enough to know Cubs fans are not happy. Think they were really fired up last week when Milton Bradley forgot how many outs there were when he threw the ball in the stands?

Think they've been happy by this team's inability to score runs? Think they were happy after last year when they produced the National League's best record and got swept in the Division Series by the Dodgers?

If you think I'm wrong, then produce the evidence. Otherwise this discussion is over.

I am the evidence you [deleted]....

Cubs fans have been booing players for my whole life, even when we really were terrible.

We have been complaining my whole life about management decisions, ect...

However, we have never even thought of not loving the cubs...you stated that cubs fans are turning over on the team, this can't be any farther from the truth...

Attendence at the park has never been higher and even if they sucked it would still sell out...

So I guess all the journalists who are writing about this are just flat out wrong. They have to be getting their information from somewhere.

OK, thanks.

Oh, yeah and the Cubs aren't going to make the playoffs this year. And since I'm a Twins fans, I thoroughly enjoyed taking 2 of 3 in Wrigley last week.

Hey, Lou! Mix in some runs.
