OL Josh HickmanRivals has a story that suggests (in the headline anyway) that he's closer to a decision. Is it the right decision (SMU)?
I agree. An upset would send recruiting into a new gear, but if we can even hang with the Red Raiders, I expect the coaches could really use that as evidence that the corner has been turned, and that the program is on the way up.
Go Ponies!!!! Rise up, Mustang Nation!
Go SMU!

Son, r u sure u wanna live 4 years in a sandstorm, er Lubbock? As an SMU student, I dated an SMU coed from Lubbock. Whenever I visited her family in Lubbock I had greater appreciation for Dallas upon my return to the Hilltop.
I can relate, my friend. The lovely Whatachick not only grew up in Lubbock, but she's also a Tech grad (oh, the shame of it all.) She's an amazing girl nonetheless. But even though I have never made the trip to Lubbock since we got together (I last visited on a fraternity road trip to an SMU/Tech game about .... 12 or so years ago), I have enjoyed mocking her hometown at every possible chance.
Oddly enough, she doesn't find such jokes nearly as humorous as I do.

I can relate Steve.. my Bride of 20+ years graduated from Tech & still thinks it's the best...
I think the constant sandblasting keeps the girls in Lubbock with smooth wrinkle free skin. I have always admired the beauty of the women at Tech. Just do not understand why anyone would want to live there. I do, by the way, have a very beautiful daughter that got her undergraduate from Tech.
Just remember on your next visit to Lubbock that the aroma you smell is coming from the stockyards, not from the coeds. There are some beautiful women there, although not as many as at SMU, which is impressive since Tech is a much bigger school. The caliber at SMU is unmatched.
