Stallion's Friday Nite Heros Report

Postby Stallion » Sat Sep 04, 2004 3:21 am

SMU commit OLM Mitch Enright's No. 1 ranked Southlake Carroll Dragons surged to a 49-0 HALFTIME lead against Coppell last nite and held on for a 70-21 victory. Enright had 0 carries for 0 yards rushing and added 0 catches for 0 yards receiving. Fellow commit LB Todd Alexander's North Crowley team won a big 21-14 victory over Aledo and matched Enright's "perfect game". Pretty exciting huh?

Enright played Left Guard last night. He is built low to the ground and is very thick. Gets a good push and also pulls nicely. A very good player in an absolutely awesome offense. Hard to tell from the score but Coppell QB Radabaugh actually looked good in the first half. Many long plays and TDs were called back on penalties. Score could have been a lot closer in the first half. No one will beat SLC this year. Ranked #1 in the nation. Out.

How did the teams of future commitments (I hope) David Allison (Humble) and J.D. Walton (Allen) do?

Aren't they both expected at tonight's game?

Mitch Enright did not record even a single yard from scrimmage out of South Lake Carroll's 630 yards of Total Offense(in 48 minute game) as South Lake Carroll beat Plano East 41-21. Todd Alexander had a big interception and "long return" to the 3 yard line in the opening minutes of North Crowley's 28-7 victory over Azle (No. 20)

If these recruits were at tonight's game, I hope they either a) got an emergency call right before kickoff and unfortunately missed the whole thing, or b) got so frustrated at the crap they saw that they wanted to suit up right then and there and turn the damn thing around.
