apparently SMU has offered this rather unheralded QB from Klien Collins. He is 6-2, 190. He is apparently being recruited by some unnamed Division 1A schools as an athlete for other positions.I made up the name.

still an interesting option. Apparently, other schools beginning to show interest although SMU is still the only one to offer. Nice size 6-2, 190 good speed 4.5 good production leading his team to the No. 1 ranked offense in Greater Houston. No Attempts/Completions availiable but he has run for 637 rushing and 12 TDs and passed for 808 yards and 9 TDs in 8 games in leading his team to 7-1 and have earned a playoff spot. We need to get a Houston correspondent to fill us in on his passing accuracy, attempts completions etc. Not many yards passing per game but I'm not sure they throw the ball much.

Didn't Recruiting Guru post something about him a while back? Or can R.G. post something new about him?

nice job. It looks like they only pass the ball 10 times a game but when they do they really hit the big plays. He has hit only only 38 of 84 passes for 831 yards but note the average per catch almost 22 yards which is superlative. 9 TDs passing or a TD every 9 passes and only 2 Ints. Luckily we aren't looking for someone who has to play next year. Still some questions on his accuracy but due to limited passing game its hard to tell. The word on the street is that there are few top QBs this year and the good ones have already committed elsewhere.

I hear we're recruiting him (and have offered him) as an athlete, with an eye on playing him at WR.
