Irving MacArthur quarterback Duane Brooks has become one of the area's most prolific passers, leading area Class 5A quarterbacks with 13 touchdowns through four games. With 820 yards, he also is the only quarterback in that group with more than 500 yards passing not to have thrown an interception.

Brooks has three interceptions in 295 attempts in his career for MacArthur (4-0).

he's only about 5-9 but I've seen numerous highlites of this kid and he's exciting. He barely broke 4.6 at the Nike College Station camp which doesn't bode well for him getting a scholarship at another position-IF ACCURATE. The only story by Rivals on him has SMU in the mix.
