When Southlake Carroll played Denton Ryan on ESPN2 a couple weeks ago, someone asked about Clint Renfro. There's a story on him today in the DMN. Says he's a junior with 36 catches for 879 yards and 15 (!) touchdowns. Also says he's 5-11 and 150 pounds "after a full meal."

To me, this sounds like Mick Rossley (or maybe Chris Foster?) Good athlete, not ideal measurables, but a guy who just makes play after play. Worth an early offer? I might even forgive him for being the son of a Frog.

Well, I don't know if that's forgivable!

This guy sounds like he has "Wes Welker" written all over him. I say we offer him early.

I guess most of you realize both his Dad AND Granfather were long time Pro greats. His grandfather Ray Renfro played at NTSU and his father at TCU-so I guess its SMU's turn. Seriously, this kid has outstanding technique but not only that I hear he has outstanding speed and is a standout on the track. He'll likely be a National recruit and one of the top recruited players in Texas like his Dad was.
