probably the surprise team in Texas Football this year is Dallas Jesuit which went 10-1 in its first year of 5A Football. Its leading player on defense is Sean Carney a 6-3 Defensive End. He appears to put SMU at the top of his list with High interest. Rated a 5.3 by Rivals. Also closely considering Baylor. He has a lot of offers from some low profile schools like SMU, Baylor, Wyoming, Toledo, La-Monroe, Rice and Richmond. BTW Jesuit's best offensive player with I believe close to 2,000 yards rushing is the relative I believe grandson of SMU great [deleted] McKissack.

I hear Carney is like the Energizer bunny. He keeps going and going and .... He'd be a good addition to the defensive line.

Do you really think the RB is their best offensive player? Don't they have a big OL named Stevens whose supposed to be a really good player, too? And with legitimate DI size?

Go Jesuit Rangers!

Take a look at that O-lineman running behind the ball carrier. Any ideas who that is? Get that kid a visit.

Reggie Stephens
6'3"/300lbs
OL - Dallas Jesuit
3.4 GPA/1100 SAT

His favorites are Iowa St., K-State, Utah. He has offers from all three.

Stephens is huge, but Carney is just as good a player, in my opinion. He fights through much bigger blockers every week, and he's surprisingly strong against the run for a guy his size.

Personally, I'd like to have both of them.

w/ a GPA & scores like that, the big OL sounds like SMU written all over him. Did we at least recruit him? Seems like Coach Bennett would fall over himself to keep K-State from yanking someone out of his own backyard.

btw, thanks for the quick info, LAMustang.
