I know it's the recruiting board, but this note needs to be seen by all SMU fans!

Folks, the men's soccer team is ranked #2 in THE COUNTRY. And the Ponies have an NCAA playoff game Tuesday night at 7 PM against Cal. We NEED to get every available PonyFan out there to cheer on the Ponies - this is a GREAT team that deserves our support.

As I wrote on the Other Sports board, one interesting subplot is the fact that Cal is coached by Kevin Grimes, who was an All-America defender at SMU and an assistant coach under our own Coach Hyndman. (Speaking of which, check out the DMN story about Coach Hyndman that's linked up on the home page - he's a pretty remarkable guy.)

The best athletes on SMU campus (today) are the SMU (M) soccer team. And, they have a great chance to advance to the Championship.

Go FUTBOL team-- beat Tulsa (again)!!!!!!!!!

We've beaten Tulsa twice already this year - beating ANYONE three times is a chore. They have on great scorer (I think his name is Poor, or something) -- he was leading the country in scoring at one point this year.

EVERYONE grab a friend and come out Saturday night! The Cal fans made more noise tonight than we did -- for a little while. We need a HUGE crowd Saturday night, and we need to be LOUD!!!!!!!!
