Rivals Video

BTW I finally got DSL on my home computer and figured out how to access the Rivals videos of select recruits. Their library includes video on David Allison and Mitch Enright. Of course, it includes highlites only but I was impressed with both linemen. But Allison at least in this video shows a lot better footwork and pass blocking ability than I expected and his simply huge. Enright is just as good technique wise but the 6-6 frame on Allison just stands out. BTW I think I already know the "big" surprise on Offense.

Well since the coaches can't make any announcements about HS recruits, it would have to be transfer players...either D-1 or JUCO. Right?

Big surprise on offense? Did I miss something here?

Thanks for the reports on Enright and Allison! Sounds quite encouraging.

Good point, PK - hadn't thought of that.
I need more coffee.

Stallion, those videos are fun to watch. If you ever get bored, go to USC's class a few years ago and watch Reggie Bush's higlight's. Most amazing stuff I've ever seen in my life.

Do tell. It'll be your scoop.

Diehard, you didn’t miss anything. It’s a tease. It’s the cool thing to do nowadays to the very small fan base we have. Apparently, if any of the people holding this “highly confidential” information leak it, they will immediately be taken captive by a secret task force put together by Turner and Copeland and taken to a warehouse somewhere in Oak Cliff. They will then experience three days of hell (Usual Suspects style) and if they make it out alive, they will have their membership to the "SMU Insiders Club" revoked.

LA, you mean hell/Usual Suspects style, as in something actually more painful than the past 5 or 6 football seasons? Impossible. And before anyone jumps on me for being pessimistic, I do think things are looking up after a few wins and some good looking young players.

actually there is a new report on Rivals from early December that I saw for the first time today that makes me question the liklihood of that surprise that I heard rumored being true. Don't bother checking-kid never previously mentioned SMU. Others could be talking about another kid but this recruit fit the description. Guess I'll just have to wait too.

Nope. A lot bigger than Hall. I didn't necessarily say better, just bigger. And there are two of them.

You couldn't be talking about Ross Nigh (6-5, 275) and Roy Servia (6-3, 330) from Cuero who were seen at one of the games earlier this year could you?
