DE or OLB?

Postby Hilltopper » Fri Dec 10, 2004 11:27 am

I saw this guy on Rivals:

Matt Williams
Weakside defensive end Round
Rock (McNeil), Texas

Height: 6-foot-3
Weight: 205 pounds
40-yard dash: 4.5 seconds

Schools of interest:
Baylor, SMU

----------

At that size (and speed), he has to project as an OLB, right? If that 6'3" is legitimate, and if he really runs a 4.5, then he would have the tools to play linebacker. Sounds like another Avery Cleveland to me.

Anyone know how good he is?

Interesting. Hadn't thought about that as a possibility.

How good is this guy? Is he a guy who looks the part and runs well, or is he a real player?
