Randall made second team all conference at Navarro, which we all know is right down the road in Corsicana. This is a league that includes Tyler, Kilgore, Trinity Valley, Blinn, and Northeast Oklahoma -- all very, very good juco programs.

Sounds like a great boost for this class! Two JUCO guys who bring (apparently) some serious ability, and obviously some instant maturity.
Pony coaches are picking up steam!

Is he related to former Dallas Carter and UT Longhorn (basketball) Anthony Goode?

Goode is from Halletsville and finished 3rd in both the 100 and 200 at the 2002 Class 3A Track Championships with times of 10.58 and 21.72. Both times he was defeated by a pretty well known sprinter/football player named DeBryan Blanton.

I think he originally signed with SWTS as HSer out of Hallettsville. Speedster in HS.

A sprinter-speed safety? Hmmmm .... kind of sounds like a new look in the secondary.
Welcome to SMU, Randall!

Also played QB in high school - good sign of overall athleticism.

Sounds like a terrific pick-up - a sprinter who can cover!
At that size, I wonder what kind of hitter he is?

I also found a better 100 time of 10.50. for Goode
