Back a few years ago, we had a DT named Paulu ( SP?). In thinking about his size, strength and quickness I thought he did well.
Can anyone find his statistics when coming out of high school. 40, bench, shuttle, height, weight.
Would a person like that be more likely to fit into Coach Bennetts D than the typical 320 DT.

Alex Pahulu was small-ish coming out of high school, and as a college player (maybe 6'1", 270 at his biggest?) What he had going for him was very good strength and outrageous quickness. Yes, Coach Bennett would love to have a guy like him - he had quite a few small-but-quick DTs before SMU who did very well.
Sorry I don't know Pahulu's specific numbers.

Yup. Don't know if he finished up, but yes, he played there.
