BTW I think Makinde is from Glendale ARIZONA CC not California. Apparently in 2002 he was a pretty good Basketball of note.

I didn't know it was official, but he's supposed to be a complete stud.
If it's true - congratulations, coaches!

AMEN!
Interesting: the defense kept us in a bunch of games last year, even those we lost, but all the JUCO additions have been on that side of the ball.

DT Adrian Haywood
DE Troy Therian
LB Clayton Cox
FS Randall Goode
CB Victore Makinde

Love it!

Boy, the defense I remeber from last year needs a bunch of JUCO help. I don't remember them keeping us in much, except trouble that is.

That being said - I love to see all this immediate help. Lets hope the Bennett bashers have nothing to eat but crow soon.

If I remember right, we held about half of our opponents under their season averages. And that was without D.D. Lee, Reggie Carrington, etc. Add the JUCOs, and we might have a stout defense.

Been looking for a reason to say this, do you think Bennett watched the Tech v. Cal game thinking, "Hell, we played 'em a hell of a lot better than that!"
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I'm sure he thought that during the TCU game and the Nebraska game when the Raiders dropped 70 on them.

Rivals- 3 star corner- 6'1" and a 4.4 40...now that's what I'm talking about.
Also, it says on the Rivals Ticker that SMU strikes it rich with commits. Congrats, coaches.

Yeah, I like where Rivals commented on what they called a "Pony commitment parade"

I had been worried that if Phil was not able to continue his recruiting success of the last two years we'd be in trouble. Truth is, I expected a great deal of difficulty this year since the honeymoon is over. Nice to be proven wrong on that.

And I must say that this JUCO help is more than encouraging.

Things are looking up on the Hilltop.
