Does anyone with access to Rivals.com know how those dreded froggies are doing this year? I was wondering if the move to the Mountain West is having any ill effects?

I am no expert, but it seems like the quality of their recruits is pretty good, but they are behind in numbers relative to past years. I guess they could have a big weekend to catch up. Not that it means much, but given the fairly strong success of their program recently I do not see their names on the "lists" much more then ours. They clearly have not seperated themselves away from the also rans into the "favorite non BCS" program for recruits. That would be really disappointing to me if I were a an amphibiphile.

I do not follow recruiting very closely, TCU's or anybody else's. However, our recruiting as of now looks iffy at best. I am among the group of fans that is having some real doubts about our coaching staff and I am less than enthusiastic about our prospects for the next couple years. We do not appear to be capitalizing on our success over the last 5 years. Hope I'm wrong.

Reed,
Your problem is the same as ours. You can have all the success in the world and still be consistently out-recruited by OSU, TTech and probably Baylor; that is the power and allure of the BCS cartel. It does appear however that our coach is better than yours at recruiting. Hopefully we can make these games competitive again.

Just a guess but I'd say Newport.
You guys need to move north up the coast to the greatest beach community in all of So Cal- Manhattan Beach.
Ah, how I miss El Porto surfing, Harry Os, Pier Ave in Hermosa (all the USC hotties), El Tarasco and Sharkeez. Those were the good days.

TCU had a nice weekend. Picked up a 4 star JUCO safety in Marvin White, Wylie QB (will play S) Chase Gibson and Madison burner DB Rafael Preist.
