BTW I think that it is spelled Emmanuel Sanders from Bellville. Listed in Rivals as 6-1, 170 4.45 but Rivals has never done a report on him. He is from 3A Bellville. He was All-District as a Junior as a WR but was switched to QB to start the season and then returned to RB/ WR later in the season. Caught 30 passes for 619 yards and 7 TDs as a JUNIOR and had 10 unassisted tackles, 24 assisted tackles, 2 Tackles for Loss, 3 Ints, 3 Passes Broken Up as a JUNIOR. I saw him listed on some preliminary OSU and Texas Tech recruiting lists but I'm sure this is the sleeper WR we were reportedly interested in. He was listed on the Texas Prep x-Tra Central Texas All-Underclassmen Team from 2003 as a DB. Made All-District as a SENIOR at both at RB and DB. Apparently, he didn't compete at a Nike Camp but they do list some times which are interesting. Taking the HUGE assumption that these are verified times he would have ranked as follows at the Nike Camp Forty-4.45(2nd out of 24), Shuttle-4.0(2nd out of 24), Vertical 29 (20 out of 37) Also can squat 335 and can bench 245

Maybe Willis will give us an opening to other recruits from Denton Ryan in the future! BTW he is our highest rated highschool recruit with a ranking of 5.5 by Rivals. Handy is tied with Allison for second at 5.4.

So how highly recruited was Handy at 6-4, 300. Is he just big or does he have some speed and quickness?

Per Rivals, UTEP also offered and Iowa State had interest.

i don't think Handy is 6-4 300, but is a real good prospect.

I heard the same report that was put on here that Handy is somewhere around 6'2" and 250 or 260. Would that make him a DE or a DT after he puts on some weight?
