Wilson remains a mystery. I've been told "without question" that he's a commitment (for a scholarship), and told equally emphatically that he's not. So I have no idea what to believe. My hunch, however, is to say he's a possible walk-on. Not that I have any factual basis for that guess -- as I said, just a hunch.

My source says that his acceptance depends upon whether the professor's panel that he went in front of to apply for admission decides to accept him or not. Even though Rival's says that he has a 2.8 GPA, evidentally, either this score is marginal or his SAT was marginal.

I would like to hear more about this academic panel. This will be a good sign to see how level playing field we have.

This is nothing new! The "panel" has been in effect since 1990!

That weeks before signing day, SMU is FULL of recruits.

I remember years of waiting for a kid to slip or slide our way.

WAY TO GO COACHES.
