Los Angeles Pierce College linebacker, Alain Karatepeyan, has committed to the University of Tulsa. In his words, "I just got home from Tulsa. I loved it out there. By looking at the prospects and returners it will be an up-and-coming team in 2005. (They're) going into the Conference-USA with 4 new jucos on the defense. Tulsa fits my type of play. They see me going off the edge in the odd package like I did at Pierce. They see me as a 3 year starter and I really liked the coaching staff. The education at Tulsa is really good, being a privite school and all. So recruiting is all over for me and the next step is the University of Oklahoma on ABC." Karatepeyan redshirted at Boise State out of high school and then played a year at LA Pierce. He'll have 3 to play 3 at Tulsa.
