...as a solid verbal? Hasn't it been a week since he switched over to Cougar High?

Is there something we don't know?

Thanks Stallion.

I guess this means that we did not land any wide out recruits, unless we got a surprise coming, and a 'ship available.

AHA! I forgot about Emanuel "With the Planuel" Sanders!

I've been looking at the Dallas Morning News/Rivals listing for the past two days (link posted above), and they don't yet mention Sanders... Thanks BUS, you're one in a million, you releaved one of my concerns.

The wheels on the BUS go round and round, round and round...

Up and down up and down. - Funny

Sanders is listed at 6'1 too. Not bad.

I also like havinf a Saftey and DB at 6'1".

A lot better than 5'8".

BUS-

Did you play football for the Hilltop? You seem to be a friend of PonyTE, and well, your nickname is BUS, for crying out loud! But then again, at times you intimate that you did not play ball... so just wanted to know.

And yes, I am super-psyched to have some taller corners. I'm just a little too tired of the "Well he was in the right position, just couldn't get up there to make a play on it" syndrome.

You did not know that Jerome Bettis was a Pony Fan?

The BUS story in short. I wrestled and streer wrestled in high school. I went to Jr. College and wrestled but my family ( ALL smu grad's) put their foot down so I showed up at SMU in my International Harvester truck and boots.
I started the wrestling team with student senate funds and then walked on the football team.

I had a BLAST but quite honestly, did not have any form. I was like a sponge and learned a lot. Like - Going to a frat party with an SMU football Tee shirt - you get attention from desireable coeds. Ha Ha

I never played ( except in practice and yes FB.) and after the season, I walked off the team after getting my tickets to the Cotton Bowl. That was a Cold Day.

The BUS name came from the fact that I used to have a RV/BUS and I would camp out on Friday nights before games.

Without knowing for sure, I would think the fact that Rivals still lists Monroe as a Pony commit speaks to the idea that they're not in the business of reporting news, but rather in the business of collecting information they can sell. When he commits to SMU, they are able to announce a commitment.... Wait a minute -- when he changed his commitment to Houston, they could announce that as a new "sellable" commitment. Never mind -- I need more coffee.

To be fair, they had actual articles on the Columbus Givens commitment to UTEP, then de-commitment, then commitment to SMU all in about a 24 hour period.

Hey BUS-

Thanks for the personal update... That was a cold day at the Cotton Bowl... one of my earliest memories... SMU beating Dan Marino... I was 4.

Oh, and Damone... love the personal quote you use as your signature.
