This kid wants to play-- now. I don't think he'll go to UT & sit & watch behind Vince Young? Plus, LSU seldom let's anybody out of the bayou!

Well, if he wants to play he'll be on the field quicker at UT than at LSU. Texas only has two legit QB's on their roster, Young and his backup Matt Nordgren(sp?) who is a senior. LSU has a number of young QB's, including next years starter Jamarcus Russell who is only a Soph.
But, that said, I think he'll end up at LSU.

Actually Sylvester Croom has really cleaned house at MSU in the last year. Kicked a bunch of Sherril's guys of the team before the season started. He's known for being quite the disciplinarian. The people in Mississippi have a lot of respect for him and the way he's run that program so far.
And RP is already a done deal to LSU. Reportedly let Mack Brown know it in the last couple of days. He's no longer considered a UT commit by any recruiting source.
Now its time for everyone to cheer UT's loss as if we did something good!!!!

No real surprise-- Perrilloux to LSU. You don't get out of the Bayou alive

Chase Daniel reports in the St. Louis Post Dispatch this morning that the Horns are scrambling for a replacement. He was offered the scholarship once the Horns found out that they had lost their only QB recruit and enjoyed turning them down despite being a lifelong Horn fan. He is very committed to Missouri!

With all due respect, sir...I'm usually going to relax and enjoy a cold beer whenever you order a "Code Red".

They've screwed themselves the last two years by focusing on just one QB, while letting others sign elsewhere. Last year especially, when they went after Bomar hard, and let A&M, Tech, and OSU take talented kids elsewhere. This year its RP. They have absolutely no real depth after Vince Young. God forbid he should go pro after this next season and they'd be up the creek at QB.
Granted, they did get Colt McCoy, although I hear he's not exactly the type of stud they usually pull in.
Expect them to be major players in the Stafford sweepstakes.

Got that right, Damone.
I know McCoy is a big, strong kid & was heavily recruited. But Jim Ned is what, 2-A? That level of play is just above 6-man FB.
