Current Rivals Rankings

For what its worth, Rivals currently has us ranked as the #76 class.

That makes us 6th among next years’ C-USA based on the Rivals point system with 90 points and 3rd based on average stars at 2.26

Since Rivals excludes D1-A transfers, I suspect our ranking would drop at least to #7 in C-USA as UTEP has some quality transfers, don’t know about Houston, which is ranked directly below us at #77.

Tulsa is the big winner, ranked #59 with 238 Rivals points and 2.32 average stars. For a 4-8 team with attendance/support issues similar to ours, I simply don’t understand their appeal. Must be their city.

Tulsa...SUX. And Skelley Stadium looks like a HS Stadium, on a bad round of immitation 'roids.

Someone please explain to me how the Rival's Points work. Tulsa has 6 3-star recruits just like SMU with an average stars of 2.32 vs 2.26 for SMU yet their Rivals Points are 238 vs 90 for SMU. what's the deal. Hell, Troy state has less "stars" players and a lower average of stars yet has more "points". I don't get it.
