Port Arthur Center Quentin Johnson - a Mustang?

Center Quentin Johnson is awaiting the results of his SAT score, which he expected to receive on Friday. The 6-4, 310-pound Johnson would love to visit Mockingbird Lane in north Dallas as a signee for Southern Methodist University, but he would keep Texas Southern, Blinn Community College and Trinity Valley Community College in the picture for now.

"I'm just still waiting to learn my SAT score," the Port Arthur News Super Team selection said. "SMU would be my top choice."

How sweet would that be!
If that happens, would Lankford move back to defensive line?

NOW that would be a great addition to the HERD of BIG MEN.

I read where they are going to move Mitch Enright to center. Quentin has the size for tackle, which is where I would imagine he will be if his scores are acceptable and we can sign him. BTW Rivals says his GPA is 3.4. If that is legitimate, I would imagine that he should be able to do alright on the SAT. However, if the school subscribes to the ethics and principles similar to the management of Wilmer Hutchins, then it could be touch and go!

It was nice to meet you and your wife at the Mercury. Next year we are going to need the entire place to fit all the Mustang Fans.

...
What we are doing with this young man is wait on him as the talk about TCU doing with some of their class. SMART "if" it works out.

Glad to see SMU at least try.

I vote that next year's recruiting day 'party' be held at Ford Stadium, as someone else on this board previously mentioned.

I think it would be a good idea, but everybody who wished to have an alcoholic beverage would have to join the private club at $25 / person. Since I am already a member, no problem for me.

Considering $25 only bought me four beers (two each for my wife and me) at Mercury Grille the other night, I'd do it. I'm sure other loyal Mustangs would join me.

The cost is $30 a year for the specialized plate and another $40 a year for personalization for a total of $70 per year as RGV stated.

Saw another good license plate the other night at the Mercury Grille. "Ponies". Parked right next to it. Whoever that is, nice plates!
